Classification Of In Person Payments

In-person payments are defined by how the payment details are collected. In the API, we use the category.origin field to define the type of payment.

category.origin

The category.origin will be one of the following:

• card_present - Used for a standard payment through a physical terminal where the cardholder presents their card.
• card_present_moto - Used when the cardholder is not present and has provided their card details to the merchant to process manually.
